1972 F250 or $100,000 Winner
Congrats to Erika J. from Northglenn, CO — winner of the 1972 Ford F-250 or $100,000 in cash!
Erika donated to support two amazing nonprofits — Roll Call and Veterans Freedom Retreat — and walked away with a life-changing win.
On a quick break from her busy workday (during performance review season, no less), Erika hopped on a Zoom call with us — not knowing she was about to receive the surprise of a lifetime. When we told her she was the winner, her heart was pounding, and her first reaction was total shock. “No way,” she said, hand over her chest, trying to catch her breath. It was a moment we won’t forget.
She first discovered Vehicle for Good through a sponsored Instagram post — and funny enough, Erika works in finance at Ford, which made our classic F-250 prize all the more eye-catching. She was drawn in by the name “Vehicle for Good,” looked up our mission, and decided to donate the bonus she had just received from work. She hoped to win, but gave because the cause mattered.
With a heart for travel and a focus on adulting (her words), Erika decided to take the $100,000 cash prize. She plans to use it to pay off bills, invest in causes she cares about, and take some much-needed time to unplug and explore the world.
And the best part? Her whole family — full of veterans — was thrilled to learn the win supported nonprofits doing great work for the ones who have given the most.
From a spontaneous Instagram click to a six-figure win — Erika’s story reminds us just how unexpected and meaningful generosity can be.
