2025 Ford Raptor or $50,000 Winner

Congrats to Richard M. from Salisbury, NC — winner of the 2025 Ford Raptor!

When we called Richard with the big news, his reaction quickly turned from surprise to laughter — because the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

Just days earlier, Richard had hit a deer with his truck while driving home from dinner. “So this is going to work out perfectly,” he told us, still amazed. Faced with the choice of $50,000 cash or the 2025 Ford Raptor, Richard didn’t hesitate — he’s taking the Raptor.

Richard first discovered Vehicle for Good through a Facebook ad back in October of 2023. He entered once… then again… and kept supporting the causes even when he didn’t win right away. That perseverance finally paid off.

Now retired and living on his own (with his cat close by during our call), Richard was thrilled — calling the win “a perfect Christmas present.” The first people he plans to tell are his neighbor downstairs, his brothers, and his two kids.

When asked what he’d say to someone who has entered before and hasn’t won yet, Richard didn’t hesitate:

“Keep entering. The cause is good, the prize is great, and you can’t say anything bad about it. I persevered — and it paid off.”
